Gut, dann meine Gedanken zu den Preisträgern und Kategorien, in denen ich die Werke kenne. Also den Spielfilmen. Für mich waren „The Revenant“ und „The Martian“ in ihren Kategorien die klaren Favoriten; auch wenn ich die Kategorie „Musical or Comedy“ nie verstehen werde. Denn egal, wie man es betrachtet: „The Martian“ ist keine Komödie, bei „The Big Short“ und „Joy“ kann man trefflich darüber streiten und dass „Spy“ und „Trainwreck“ gegen diese Filme keine Chance haben, muss wohl nicht extra erwähnt werden. „Inside Out“ als bester Animationsfilm geht ebenfalls in Ordnung. Das mit Puppen gedrehte Stop-Motion-Werk „Anomalisa“ spielt in einer anderen Kategorie.
Auch die weiteren Golden Globes für „The Revenant“ sind absolut gerechtfertigt. Ebenso der Golden Globe an Aaron Sorkin für sein Drehbuch für „Steve Jobs“.
Verlierer, wenn man so will, sind „The Big Short“ und „Spotlight“, zwei gute, auf wahren Ereignissen basierende Filme, die in ihren Kategorien gegen eine starke Konkurrenz zu kämpfen hatten.
Und Sylvester Stallone hat seinen Nebendarsteller-Golden-Globe für „Creed“ unmöglich für seine schauspielerische Leistung (im Endeffekt ist er im Film einfach nur präsent), sondern für sein Lebenswerk erhalten.
